Kasia Rust is a graphic designer specialising in packaging design, branding and new product development.
After studying Graphic Design at Saint Martins School of Art, London, Kasia worked at The Ian Logan Design Company and in the late 80s became senior designer at Smith and Milton. She later joined Lambie-Nairn as head of packaging division.
Kasia joined Lewis Moberly as design director where she stayed for over 10 years. For the past five years she has been working in a freelance and consultancy capacity for high profile clients including Lewis Moberly, Coley Porter Bell, Pearlfisher, Williams Murray Hamm, Dew Gibbons and Wolf Olins.
She set up design company burst* ltd with Graham Burt in 2003
Kasia’s work has featured in D&AD annuals, on the BBC design awards and in an exhibition as part of Creative Reviews Creative Futures. She has twice been a judge on the D&AD packaging design jury and currently lectures at Central Saint Martins School of Art on the BA Graphic Design course. She has also been a visiting lecturer at the University of Brighton and lectures at The Design Museum, London.
